Frequently Asked Questions

How do I schedule an appointment?
All appointments must be scheduled in advance to allow time to prepare for clinics.  We do not take any walk ins.  Please call 859-225-4325 to schedule an appointment.

Do I need to bring my old medical records to the clinic?
Yes, please bring all past medical records with you to your first appointment.  We may have you sign a release form to obtain all past records from an emergency room, hospital, or physician’s office.

What is the medication policy?
Bring all medications you are currently taking with you to the clinic.  The physician may give you prescriptions for drugs to treat your conditions, if necessary.  Medications prescribed will be generic or the least expensive option whenever possible.  If assistance is needed for medications that are expensive or that will be taken over a long period of time, we will work with you to sign up for available assistance programs.

What is the prescription refill policy?
If you need a refill on your medication, please contact your pharmacy and let them know at least 2 weeks before you run out of medicine.  They will contact us to approve the refill.  Please do not wait until you are out of medicine!

Will I see the same doctor every time I come to the clinic?
While not always possible, it is our goal to have you see the same doctor each time you are here to provide continuity of care.

Do you do lab work?
Yes, lab work may be ordered by your clinic physician at no cost to our patients.  We do not provide STD testing.

What do I bring to my follow up appointments?
Bring your current medications card to be updated each time and any paperwork you have received from other medical providers that relate to your current appointment (For example, bring Emergency Room discharge papers or referral letters).
